Upstate New York Greek Yogurt Mogul Profiled in ‘Fortune’

Hamdi Ulukaya, the CEO of Chobani Yogurt of South Edmeston, is profiled in the December 12 edition of Fortune Magazine.
Ulukaya, a Turkish immigrant, described his rise from a small feta cheese maker to building the 3rd largest yogurt company in the US behind only Dannon and Yoplait. In addition, Chobani leads the rapidly growing Greek, or strained, yogurt category.
The article revealed that Chobani is prepping three new yogurt flavors for launch in 2012 – apple cinnamon, blood orange and passion fruit. Yum x 3.
