...And all over the United States. You may (or may not) notice a difference in the name of this superstore, just after the New Year.

"One-Stop Shop?" "Everything For Less?" "The Everything Store?"

Those may be some good alternatives to the Walmart name, but they're not making THAT drastic of a change. Actually, if you weren't reading this article, you may have not even noticed when the changes goes in effect.

According to USA Today, "Wal-Mart Stores" will be getting rid of the "stores" at the end of their name and getting rid of the hyphen between "Wal" and "Mart." You know, the hyphen that most of us don't use anyway. Same with saying "stores" at the end of Walmart... who does that?

Anyway, these changes will go in effect at all Walmart locations across the country as of Thursday, February 1, 2018. Although, most of us probably won't even notice a change.

As for everything else, Walmart will still be your giant superstore with everything you could possibly want (and a handful of items you didn't even know you needed, which somehow always manage to end up in your shopping cart). Online shopping and grocery pick-up (where it's already available), will still continue, as well.

Just a name-change. And a very minimal one, at that.
