What City Has The Best Tasting Water in New York State?
The Great New York State Fair held its annual Best Tasting Water in New York State competition yesterday and ten municipalities competed for the title of best water in the Empire State.
Last year’s champion, Albany, was dethroned by a downstate city.

The winner of the best tasting water in New York State is the City of New Rochelle in Westchester County. New Roc beat out the Syracuse suburb of Baldwinsville, whose H2O took second place.
The competition pitted communities that won regional water taste tests. Other cities in the running this year included New Berlin, Clifton Park, Schenectady, Rochester and Fredonia.
Accuse me of being a homer, but I think the Adirondack-fed Utica municipal drinking water is the best.
