Where the Sidewalk Ends – the New Byrne Dairy in Whitesboro

Driving by the construction of the new Byrne Dairy in Whitesboro made me chuckle recently when I came across a sign that hearkens back to childhood.

Heading east on Oriskany Boulevard a sidewalk built in front of the new convenience store and gas station is very reminiscent of a classic book of children’s poetry by Shel Silverstein.
Below is voice of the late Silverstein performing one of the poems from the book Where the Sidewalk Ends, ‘Ickle Me, Pickle Me, Tickle Me Too.’
