Nik Wallenda and his family of aerialists have been amazing audiences for decades. Nik himself has an impressive resume as a dare-devil tight-rope walker. He has already crossed Niagara Falls and the Grand Canyon. Of all those amazing accomplishments his most impressive by far was the first wire performance at 13-years-old in Old Forge, NY.

In a recent interview with our sister station, WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning, he explains that training was always the most important part of everything he's ever done. He goes on to say that his first ever public tight rope walking stunt was performed in front of the guests at Enchanted Forest Water Safari. Just barely a teenager, he had the ability to do some amazing things. From there he only got better. Both he and his family have crossed some of the world's most impressive distances. It's pretty cool to think a little water park circus in Upstate New York would launch such an impressive career. We wish Nik and all the World Famous Wallendas the best.
