One of the hot songs on Lite 98.7 in 2017, which also figures to score well in 2018, is "Slow Hands," by Niall Horan, the solo star who used to be a member of One Direction.

After a tip from a friend, Beth & Dave in the Morning started playing a fantastic parody version called "Snow Pants." The parody features the infectious work of Canada's Keith Muise.

He also has a Facebook page called 80s Summer Camp, which is a virtual camp, he told us, "aimed at getting people to take part in old-school activities and perform good deeds with the goal of stress reduction and bonding as a community."

Muise says they're up to about 300 "campers" and his outfit also provides volunteering to assist non-profits like United Way and Boys & Girls Clubs.

The "Snow Pants" idea came about, says Muise, because his 3-year-old "was singing 'Snow Hands' during our first big snowfall here in Alberta, Canada."

We'll be tracking the chart progress for both Muise's "Snow Pants" and Niall Horan's "Slow Hands" as 2018 continues to unfold. And we'll be watching the 80s Summer Camp Facebook page for news of activities and good deeds. Maybe we should launch a local chapter?
