5.9 Magnitude Earthquake Rattles New York, Entire Eastern Seaboard [UPDATE]
A 5.9 magnitude earthquake has struck the eastern seaboard of the United States. The epicenter was in Virginia and reports are coming in from up and down the Atlantic Coast and as far away as Indiana of feeling the earth shake.
WJLA-TV in Washington, DC, is reporting the epicenter in Mineral, Virginia, which is in the central part of the state between DC and Richmond.
Earlier in the day, a 2.0 quake struck in Upstate New York west of Albany.
