A lawsuit is in the works over the Lite 98.7 song of the summer by Robin Thicke called "Blurred Lines". The New York Post writes that Robin Thicke, along with Pharrell Williams and Clifford Harris Jr. filed the lawsuit against Marvin Gaye's family and Bridgeport Music. The move is in response to threatened legal action on the part of Gayes's family and their record label claiming the song has similarities between Marivin Gaye's "Got To Give It Up" and Funkadelic's "Sexy Ways". Really?

The New York Post notes,

"the lawsuit says THICKE, WILLIAMS and HARRIS JR. have 'the utmost respect for and admiration of MARVIN GAYE, FUNKADELIC and their musical legacies,' but must 'reluctantly file this action in the face of multiple adverse claims from alleged successors in interest to those artists"

What do you think? Here all all three songs, you decide.

And finally, the hit song itself.
