Actor Peter Falk Has Died

One of my most favorite actors has died.  Peter Falk, age 83, died in his LA home Thursday night.  He'd been suffering from Alzheimer's since 2008, according to his daughter. 

Falk starred in several movies but his most famous role was playing Lt. Columbo, wearing that rumpled raincoat and uttering his character's classic line, "just one more thing."  The show won seven Emmy's, including four for Falk.  One of my favorite movies  is "The In-laws," starring Peter Falk and Alan Arkin.  Falk was hilarious as Vince and he and Arkin played off each other so well.  The movie came out in 1979 and is still one of my favorite comedies.   He's survived by two daughters  and his second wife Shera, whom he was married to for 34 years.   Columbo, you will be missed!
