What an amazing story out of Dayton, Ohio.  A bus driver who'd been shot at point blank range was saved by the bible in his pocket.

CNN reports Ohio public transit bus driver Rickey Wagoner, 38, was attacked by three teens Monday morning when his bus broke down.

Wagoner was shot at point blank range three times, twice in the chest and once in the leg.  He was also stabbed in the arm.  He survived being shot in the chest at such close range because a New Testament bible he carried in his front pocket stopped the bullets.

Dayton Police Sgt. Michael Pauley said Wagoner wasn't just lucky to have survived.

There was obviously some kind of intervention involved in this incident, because he probably should not be here.

Police say Wagoner's injuries aren't life threatening and they're looking for the three teenagers involved in the attack.

Incredible story, isn't it?  Kind of makes you want to start carrying a Bible in your pocket.
