Talk about doing something to the extreme! An animal right's activist is in her second week of eating dog food every day until an animal cruelty law known as Nitro's Law is enacted in Ohio. Nikki Moustaki (who lives in Florida) says, "Someone has to speak up for animals Animals don't vote, but their owners do."

According to the Miami New Times the law came about after 12 starving and 7 dead dogs were discovered at High Caliber K-9, a boarding kennel in Youngstown, Ohio. The law is named after Nitro, a Rottweiler who died at the kennel while his family was out of town visiting a sick relative. If passed, it would increase animal cruelty to a fifth degree felony in Ohio punishable by up to a year in jail

To gain attention for the issue, Nikki has YouTube videos of her eating dog food. Apparently she prefers "Lucky Dog Cuisine." Some days she just eats it right of the container with her hands.

Would you go this far for animal rights?
