Breaking News: Matt Lauer Fired From Today

Longtime Today show personality Matt Lauer has been fired. 

Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb made the announcement LIVE on Today Wednesday morning with a graphic below noting that his termination was tied to 'inappropriate workplace behavior'.

As of this posting, Lauer's image was still sprawled across many of the Today show's social media, including the twitter feed that announced his termination.

Update: Today has since removed images of Lauer from their Twitter homepage, replacing those pictures with ones of Al Roker and Megyn Kelly.
