After a tough Thursday night loss to Cleveland, and then watching Cincinnati beat the Patriots, fans realized that The Buffalo Bills must make some bold moves before facing the Bengals on Sunday afternoon in Orchard Park. First they brought back punter Brian Moorman and us fans rejoiced! Now, quarterback Thad Lewis, who was merely on the practice squad, will start for the Bills this Sunday. Will Thad be the future The Buffalo Bills?

The Buffalo Bill's new couch Doug Marrone says:

“We have decided that we are going to call Thad Lewis up from our practice squad and he will start at quarterback for us this Sunday. He has a great arm. He really does,” said Marrone.

The (2-3) Buffalo Bills are hosting the (3-2) Cincinnati Bengals for a 1pm kick-off on Sunday .

Starting QB EJ Manuel will be sidelined for at least a few weeks after sustaining an LCL sprain in his right knee in last Thursday’s loss to Cleveland. Fellow rookie Jeff Tuel replaced Manuel in the lineup last week, but struggled. It prompted Marrone and his offensive staff to pursue other options.
