Conrad Bain, best known for his role as adoptive father Phillip Drummond on the '70s to '80s sitcom 'Diff'rent Strokes,' has died at the age of 89.

According to his family, the Golden Globe-winning actor passed away at home on Monday night (Jan. 14) in Livermore, Calif. The circumstances surrounding his death are currently unknown.

Conrad's daughter Jennifer said he was with family at the time and eulogized her father by saying, "He was an amazing person. He was a lot like Mr. Drummond, but much more interesting in real life. He was an amazing father."

He is also survived by another daughter, three sons and his twin brother Bonar Bain.

With Conrad's death, the only surviving member of the 'Diff'rent Strokes' family is now Todd Bridges. Gary Coleman died in 2010 after a fall, and Dana Plato passed away in 1999 of a drug overdose.
