Maybe you just got engaged? Maybe you're looking for a place to have your wedding? On Saturday, Sept. 1, at 2 p.m., one lucky couple will have the chance to put on some ice skates and say 'I do' in the new expo center at the NY State Fairgrounds.

According to the press release, it will be a legally binding wedding and an official marriage license is required. To enter, couples must upload a photo of themselves, along with the story of how they met, as comments on the Facebook post announcing the contest by the end of the day on August 31.

The couple is required to say their vows on skates, on the ice. The wedding party and guests are not required to be on them.

The fair will be providing an officiant (you can bring your own if you choose,) photographer, reception with catered hors d'oeuvres and cocktails plus live music from Just Joe for the wedding evening. Then, you'll receive a limo ride to the Jefferson Clinton Hotel in downtown Syracuse for an overnight stay.

You and your pre-registered wedding guests will also get free admission and parking for the day.

As a wedding gift, the fair will give the newlyweds a pair of lifetime state fair passes. Acting Fair Director, Troy Waffner, says the fair is excited to host this contest.

The Expo Center is giving new life to our year-round events business. We thought we'd pay it forward, by bringing together a couple to form a wonderful new union. We're prepared to make their entire wedding day memorable. There certainly won't be another wedding like it!

In addition to the grand prize winner, 10 other entries will be chosen by random to receive two single-day fair admissions and a parking pass.

The New York State Fair runs from August 22nd to September 3rd.
