Facebook is making it easier to get over your ex and stay broken up.

The company announced Thursday, November 19th 215,  that is starting to test features that might make it just a little bit easier to break up online.

Facebook might have just helped you stay away from your old flame, and a little less of the social media stalking.

The social media site will now provide several of options when a person changes their relationship status back to single, or in a way that indicates they are no longer attached. An example would be, users will now have the option to see less of their ex’s name and profile. Also a big thing in this, is their ex's posts won’t show up in that person’s news feed.

Another thing facebook is doing with this, is the ex will not appear as a suggested person to tag in photos, along with their pictures and status updates will be limited.

In the United States, Facebook says, is starting to test these features on mobile and will expand them based on user feedback.

“This work is part of our ongoing effort to develop resources for people who may be going through difficult moments in their lives. We hope these tools will help people end relationships on Facebook with greater ease, comfort and sense of control,” the company said in a statement.
