New Yorkers who want to get a vaccine are going to have another opportunity to do that, and score free tickets to Darien Lake at a pop-up vaccination clinic on Tuesday.

It feels like there are opportunities everywhere for people who want to get vaccinated against COVID-19.  And now they're even throwing incentives around from free or discounted beer to amusement part tickets. There is yet another at a pop-up clinic at Six Flags Darien Lake on Tuesday (5/11) for people who want to get a vaccine.

Which brands of the vaccine will be distributed?

They will be giving out the Pfizer vaccine, which requires two shots and the Johnson & Johnson which is the single shot.

Do I need an appointment, or can I just walk-in?

Whether or not you will need an appointment will depend on which vaccine you choose.  If you want the two shot Pfizer vaccine, you will need to have an appointment because you will need to schedule a date for a follow up shot.  According to WGRZ, if you are looking for the Johnson & Johnson one shot vaccine, they encourage people to still make an appointment to gauge how many people will be there but they will try to accommodate as many walk-ins as they can.

As a proud member of this community, we are honored to partner with Genesee County and do our part to help protect the public. The safety of our guests and team members is always our highest priority, and we’re excited to play a role in ensuring that anyone who wants a vaccination is able to get one.

It will happen right at Six Flags Darien Lake in the Human Resources building from 1-5pm.
