Glen Phillips, lead singer of the popular 90's band "Toad the Wet Sprocket" will be playing at Mohawk Valley Community College this coming Friday night at 8.

Do you remember jamming out with your girlfriends to this song back in the day?

The lead singer of that band, Glen Phillips, will be joining us in the Lite 98.7 studio to talk about his Friday show at Mohawk Valley Community College. He'll also be chatting about his studio projects, and of course we'll ask him how in the world his band got such and unusual name. According to Mohawk Valley Community College:

As the songwriter, lyricist, singer, and guitarist of Toad the Wet Sprocket, Glen Phillips was responsible for penning several of the chart-topping singles of the ’90s (Walk on the Ocean,All I Want,” “Something's Always Wrong,” and “Fall Down”) as well as numerous solo hits.

Be listening for your chance to win a pair of tickets to the show several times today and tomorrow. When you hear the Toad the Wet Sprocket music montage, be caller #9 at 721-0987 and you're there!

The show is part of the Mohawk Valley Community College Cultural Series and ticket information can be obtained by clicking HERE.
