Utica Bread is adding a second location in New Hartford, according to Facebook.

Hello carbs. Utica Bread - home of amazing bread, croissants, and pain au chocolat that can actually make you cry, it's so good (maybe that's just me) is coming to New Hartford.

The Utica bakery, which changed hands over the past several months, announced in a Facebook post they plan on adding a second location in New Hartford.

"We are super excited to announce Utica Bread is planning to have a second location in the Village of New Hartford... Coming soon."

The bakery will continue to operate out of its original location at 106 Genesee Street, Utica.

Comments on the Facebook post were all positive - with some hoping for more available parking and others thrilled to see the addition to the Village of New Hartford.

We reached out the owner of Utica Bread, Tim Owens, but he wasn't prepared to share the location of the new shop as they work to finalize details.

I promise you this - I will be the first person standing in line the day they open.
