The Herkimer Diamond Gem Show and Festival is Coming Up

Calling all gem, stone, and mineral lovers - The Herkimer Diamond Gem Show and Festival happens this weekend at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds.

And it's not JUST a bunch of stones, or looking at rocks. If that's what you're thinking, we're guessing you haven't made your way to the Herkimer Diamond Gem Show and Festival before. This event is huge! Yes, it brings gems, minerals, and stone dealers from all over the country, but there are tons of other vendors on site with handmade jewelry, spray paint artwork, tie-dye shirts and accessories, painted wine glasses, bird feeders and outdoor decorations, and so many other unique items and goodies. There's even going to be an artist doing henna tattoos.

According to the Herkimer Diamond Gem Show and Festival's Facebook Event Page, this weekend of fun will also include a psychic fair and activities for the kids. And don't forget to bring extra money, not just for all the goodies from the vendors, but for lunch from one of the many food trucks that will be on site.

The Herkimer Diamond Gem Show and Festival this Saturday, July 21st and Sunday, July 22nd at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds. The event goes from 9am to 6pm on Saturday, and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday. Cost is $5 (which you can pay at the gate).
