Lainey Wilson is Coming to Central New York & You Can See Her for Free

One of the biggest stars in country music is coming to Central New York to perform a free concert.

Lainey Wilson is kicking off the New York State Fair with a show on opening day as part of the Chevy Music Series.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have Lainey Wilson join us on Opening Day of the 2023 Great New York State Fair. We were really fortunate to be able to book her when we did,” said Sean Hennessey, Interim Fair Director.

Lainey has been one of our most requested artists to perform at the fair on social media. It's no surprise considering she was the most awarded and most nominated female artist at the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and CMT Country Music Awards this spring.

Free Concert With Fair Admission

Wilson’s performance on Wednesday, August 23 is included with Fair admission. Tickets are expected to go on sale early in July for $6. Anyone 65 years and older or 12 years and younger are free.

In total, the Chevrolet Music Series will feature 48 acts performing at Chevy Court and Suburban Park. With the Lainey Wilson announcement, The Fair is now two-thirds of the way through announcing its musical line-up.
