Jennifer Lopez will get her own residency in Las Vegas, and it will launch early next year.

Joining the ranks of those who came before -- Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and more -- J. Lo announced her exciting news during last night’s (May 12) episode of American Idol, where she is a judge (incidentally, the show recently revealed that its next season will be its last).

Lopez's Vegas show will launch on January 20, 2016 at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino’s Axis Theater, with 19 dates scheduled between then and June.

“There’s a lot of different things over the years people have come to know me as [and] so many different things we can delve into,” Lopez said of her forthcoming show (quotes via USA Today). “We haven’t started exactly, but in my mind, I know it’s going to be a multifaceted, high-energy kind of block party.”

As such, Lopez hopes to incorporate elements spanning her entire career, from her work in the early ‘00s all the way to last year’s A.K.A. A pre-sale will kick off today (May 13) at 1PM ET. The general sale will take place this Saturday (May 16), also at 1PM ET.

“I’m excited,” Lopez continued. “It’s something I’ve thought about a lot. Just being in one place [and] not having to tour the world as much.”

“It’s the best restaurants, a lot of shopping,” Lopez said of her soon-to-be home. “You can get into trouble over there. I get into the clean kind of trouble. I’m not a gambler, and I’m not into the nightlife as much, but I have plans to enjoy myself.”
