Don't let his Grammy or Emmy statues fool you: Justin Timberlake is only now about to receive the most prestigious award of his entire career — the Teen Choice Decade Award!

At the 2016 Teen Choice Awards, airing Sunday, July 31 at 8 p.m. EST, the former boy-bander-turned-musical-superstar will be recognized for his illustrious achievements as an artist over the last ten years. (Not counting his early days in 'NSync, of course.)

The singer, who stands as the most awarded male performer with a whopping 22 Teen Choice surfboards, is also nominated in three categories this year: Choice Party Song, Choice Summer Song and Choice Song From a Movie or TV show, all for "Can't Stop the Feeling," his bouncy pop tune off the Trolls soundtrack. The track debuted atop the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, making it Timberlake's fifth No. 1 single in the country as well as the 26th song ever to debut at No. 1 on the Hot 100.

Timberlake's Decade Award comes at an even more serendipitous moment: 2016 happens to mark the 10-year anniversary of the artist's iconic second pop solo album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, which was released in 2006 and spawned seven successful singles, including the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit, "SexyBack."

Other "special" category Choice Awards have included the Ultimate Choice Award (won by Mike Myers in 2004) and the Visionary Award (won by Gwen Stefani in 2005).
