Katy Perry has officially made history scoring her fifth No. 1 single off of her ‘Teenage Dream’ album, making her the only artist to do so in nearly 19 years. ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)’ recently climbed from No. 2 to No. 1, and this achievement will get her name in pop culture books worldwide.

According to PopCrush, Perry’s latest single also “sets the mark for most weekly plays in the chart’s history.” The best part about the record being broken is that the track that previously held this title was Perry’s own ‘E.T.’

If ‘Last Friday Night’ can top the Billboard Hot 100. ‘Teenage Dream’ would be the first album to garner five No. 1 singles since Michael Jackson‘s 1987 release, ‘Bad.’
