Show Off Your Lights- Win $500 In Central New York
It's the most wonderful time of the year, and there's no better time to show the world how much you love the holiday season. Let's light up our neighborhoods more than ever before. How?
How to Enter the Light Up CNY Contest
Between now and December 16th, we need you to share photos of your most creative, beautiful, and breathtaking holiday displays. Maybe this year you lugged all 12 crates of lights out of the basement and blanketed the entire house. Maybe you rented some heavy equipment to decorate the towering pine tree in your front yard. Maybe there's a life-size replica of Santa's sleigh shining brighter than a Vegas casino in front of your business.
We want to see it!
What You Could Win This Holiday Season
But it's also the time of year for giving, so we'd love to wrap up a box containing $500 for one lucky person who shares their beautiful holiday display with us. Powered by Steve Lennon and Company Jewelers, 23 Genesee Street in the village of New Hartford

A Family Tradition of Craftsmanship and Care
S. Lennon & Company Jewelers is built on the belief that jewelry should be personal. It marks life’s most meaningful moments, which is why they’ve created a warm, welcoming space where customers can slow down, say hello, and enjoy a truly personalized shopping experience. Their goal has always been to bring back the kind of jewelry store where you’re greeted with a friendly smile, where the staff knows your style, and where finding the perfect piece feels relaxed instead of overwhelming. It’s their way of honoring the trust people place in them every time they choose something special.
The business itself is rooted in deep family tradition. As a third-generation jeweler, the Lennon family has been serving the community for more than 75 years, beginning in 1945 when Harold Sr. and Mary Alice Lennon opened their first store in Utica. Today, Steve and Theresa Lennon carry that tradition forward in New Hartford, bringing decades of experience in jewelry, design, and customer care. With a highly trained staff — including a GIA-certified jeweler — they offer everything from custom designs to repairs, private appointments, and personal shopping. It’s a family-run store that treats every customer like part of the family, continuing a legacy of craftsmanship, service, and community connection.
