
Lily Allen Joining Pink on Stage for ‘VH1 Storytellers’ Gig
Pink held a private concert and taping for her upcoming ‘VH1 Storytellers’ episode on Monday (Aug. 20), during which fans were treated to a special appearance by guest Lily Allen.
Allen, who recently changed her name to Lily Rose Cooper, joined Pink on stage for a rendition of ‘True Love,’ a song from 32-year-old’s soon-to-be-released album, ‘The Truth About Love,’ on which she lends guest vocals. Allen tweeted a grainy photo from the event, shown below.
The British singer later told The Sun, “It was great, felt strange being back on stage again but Pink made me feel at ease. Really enjoyed myself though. Can’t wait to get back out there.”
Pink also used Twitter to thank Allen, as well as fun.’s Nate Ruess and Butch Walker, for sharing the stage with her.
Pink’s ‘The Truth About Love,’ featuring her single ‘Blow Me (One Last Kiss),’ will be released on Sept. 18, and her ‘VH1′ Storytellers’ episode will air on Nov. 13.
