Mary Wacera Wins 2018 Boilermaker Women’s 15K in Tight Race

It was Kenya, followed by Kenya, and then Kenya.

Another beautiful day for the Boilermaker and another gorgeous run for Kenya's 29-year-old Mary Wacera, the winner by a nose over her countrywomen, 24-year-old Monicah Ngige, who was second, and Vicoty Chepngeno (also 24), who finished third.

Wacera took the 41st running of the Utica Boilermaker 15K with a time of 50:01, for her fourth Boilermaker title.
