4 beef cattle are on the loose wandering somewhere around Morrisville.  Perhaps they're looking for greener pastures or warmer weather; either way they're on the mooove.

Earlier this year a bull named Norm decided to take local law enforcement officials on a wild goose, I mean cow chase all over the Mohawk Valley. Before he was captured, Norm made stops in New Hartford, Rome, and Utica.  He was eventually wrangled by couple of cowboys from Argyle, but remained on the loose for nearly four months before he was finally lassoed .Now 4 more cows are on the loose...

I'm tempted to milk this story for as long as I can, but instead I'll get right to the point. A mooing quartet, known as the "Bovine Bunch" is currently touring Central New York. Ironically, they were discovered in a mass audition also known as a cattle call. According to our sister station WIBX:

A property owner called authorities on December 2, 2015 to say that she had seen four beef cows on her Emhoff Road property for more than a week.  Attempts to locate the owners, who may be able to help round up the cows, have been unsuccessful.Troopers are asking anyone who has information about the roving bovine to call State Police in Oneida at: (315) 366.6000.

The "Bovine Bunch" loves the spotlight but they'd rather be seen than herd; so if you happen to see them hoofing around Madison County, help out our State Troopers by giving them a call. They're the best, and that's no bull!
