NASA Testing Drones at Griffiss Airport in Rome

Several drones of different shapes and sizes are being tested this week at Griffiss International Airport in Rome, and the results could have an impact on your life.

NASA and the FAA are overseeing these first-of-a-kind the tests that just may determine how soon you may be seeing drones do home deliveries.   Delivery of packages is one thing being tested this week, along with delivery of mail and even firefighting efforts, according to an aviation spokesperson.

If the tests go well, we may see package and even mail delivery by drones within a couple of years.
