Since it began the Toys For Tots campaign has grown to cover all the areas of the Mohawk Valley. You can now drop-off and receive toys for children in Herkimer, Madision, Oneida, and a small portion of Eastern Oswego County. Last year they served approximately five-thousand needy families with over fifteen-thousand toys. This can only be done with support from the local community, people like you, so let's pitch in! Remember, the final day to request toys is midnight the 13th. After that your request will go in for next year. If you'd like to drop off toys for children, here are some locations in the Utica area; Christine's Salon at 9835 River Road (Campus Plaza) Marcy, The Mohawk Valley Chamber of Commerce at 200 Genesee Street, NBT Bank 270 Genesee Street, The Oneida County Department of Motor Vehicles in Union Station, The Oneida County Family Court Building, 200 Elizabeth Street, The Oneida County Medicaid Office, 800 Park Ave., 8th floor, at The Oneida County Public Defender's office also at 800 Park Ave., at the restaurant 'Top of Morning' on Conventry Ave, and at WalGreens on Genesee St.
In the Rome area; Big Lots at 1146 Erie Blvd W., Cycle Shack Polaris, 1205 Erie Blvd. West, Engelberts Jewelers at 265 W. Dominick St., Fisher Auto Parts at 726 Erie Blvd W., Floyd Nice 'N Easy on State Route 365, Joe Tahan's Furniture at 131 Henry St., King Pin Lanes on E. Dominick St., Mazzafarro Meats & Deli at 7824 Ridge Mills Road, NBT Bank at 853 Black River Boulevard & 1148 Erie Blvd. West, Olney's Flowers at 2002 N. James & Black River Blvd, The Mill at 611 E. Dominick St., and Volkswagen of Rome  at 5865 Rome Taberg Rd., just to name a few. Also when in Rome, $12.99 Cuts has teamed up with Toys for Tots. They are offering a free hair cut coupon to any one that brings in a toy between December 1st and the 22nd.
