RCIL’s “Wonderland Of Lights 2013″-Three Reasons Why You Should Go See It

My family couldn't wait until November 28th for the annual "Wonderland Of Lights" to begin for the 2013 season.  RCIL's "Wonderland Of Lights" at the Masonic Care Community Campus in Utica is waiting for you to visit.  Here are three reasons why you should go see it.

Thanksgiving night there were plenty of things we could've done.  Gone shopping, eaten more Thanksgiving dinner, watched football or even taken a nap.  However, we chose instead to all pile in the car and go see the "Wonderland Of Lights."

What a fun way to wrap up a family holiday.  Don't worry if you didn't go yet.  The "Wonderland Of Lights" runs until December 26th, from 5:30-8:30pm.

Here's why you should go see it:

1.  You can enjoy the beauty and wonder of thousands of Christmas lights and you don't have to be the one to put them up or take them down.  That alone is worth the price of admission!

2.  "Wonderland Of Lights" is a fundraiser for RCIL, which is the Resource Center For Independent Living.  They provide services and programs to people with disabilities.  You get to enjoy a magical holiday display while helping those who need it.  RCIL is celebrating their 30th anniversary.

3.  It'll get you in the holiday spirit.  Once you see the lights, you'll  feel like a kid again, counting down the days until Santa arrives.   And even if the weather is frosty outside, like it was Thanksgiving night, you'll be enjoying the lights from the comfort of your warm vehicle.  Remember to turn on Lite 98.7 while you're driving through the light show.    We've got all your holiday favorites!

Santa will be there on 12/6, 12/13, 12/20 and 12/22.  Don't forget to have your kids write their letters to Santa and drop them off in Santa's mailbox at the light show.  They'll get a personalized letter back!

New this year, they're also open Christmas Eve.  Admission is $8 for cars, $15 for 15 passenger vans, $25 for limos and $50 for buses and larger vehicles.
