It looks like ghouls and goblins aren't the only scary thing we'll be seeing on Halloween: there's snow in the forecast.

The extended forecast for Halloween is not too promising, according to the Weather Channel. You might want to add an extra layer under the kids costumes. It's not just the cold and rain that's scary, there's a potential for snow showers as well.

(Cue the screaming.)

The forecast says we can expect rain and clouds during the day on Halloween, with temperatures getting up to about 45 degrees. During trick or treat time, things go from bad to worse. The forecast calls for cloudy skies with rain and snow showers. Temperatures will get down to 32 degrees.

If the forecast is correct, Halloween will welcome the first snowflakes of the winter - okay, technically, it's still fall, but you know what I mean.
