Sean Penn Has Been Named Ambassador To Haiti

Yes, Spicoli...bad boy Sean Penn was named an official ambassador to Haiti on Saturday. He's come a long way from punching out paparazzi with Madonna. Penn, who has worked to raise money and awareness for the impoverished nation since the 2010 earthquake, accepted his new position at the Cinema for Peace benefit in Beverly Hills.

In accepting the job from Haitian foreign minister Laurent Lamothe, Penn said, "I do accept. (It would be useful to) change being called, 'Hey you (expletive), to hey Mr. Ambassador!" Yeah Sean, that sounds better, congratulations.
