Severe Thunderstorms Developing Near Syracuse This Afternoon

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for portions of Onondaga and Madison counties until 5PM today.

The storm is producing quarter size hail and winds to 60 mph,  moving along a corridor between the NYS Thruway and Oneida Lake and  is due in Bridgeport at 4:45 today.

This severe cell is part of a longer line of storms stretching from the Oswego/Jefferson county line to Geneva in the Finger Lakes
