Another round of severe thunderstorms that could produce strong winds, hail, and maybe even tornadoes is possible for Tuesday here in Central New York.  This weather is from the same system that caused the major flooding across Louisiana.  That storm system is expected to move north and merge with another system in Great Lakes Monday night.

The National Weather Service says it is unusual for such a strong low pressure system to move through this region at this time of year.  The system will produce extremely humid air back into Central New York.

The current forecast calls for a 70 percent chance of Thunderstorms on Tuesday with all the ingredients for high winds, hail and even tornadoes.  This past weekend saw similar storms in the region which caused damage in many communities.
