Sherrill Woman to Appear on TV’s Great American Baking Show
A Central New York woman is bringing her baking talents to television on 'The Great American Baking Show.'
Andrea Maranville is a Rome native who currently resides in Sherrill, NY. She describes herself as "a wife, mom, self proclaimed foodie, self taught cook, baker, homemaker."
Andrea will compete against other bakers on the six-episode show, which premieres Thursday, Dec. 6, on ABC at 9pm. Andrea tells the Oneida Daily Dispatch she traveled to England to film the baking competition - which is a spin-off of Britain's 'The Great British Bake Off.'
Showcasing bakers from around the country each week, the series puts their best recipes forward as they compete in holiday-themed challenges and eliminations, all hoping to be named America’s Best Amateur Baker.
Central New York will be pulling for you, Andrea. Even after the show, you can check out Andrea's blog 'Sweet Life of a Baker' at andreamaranville.com
