First of all, what is "Smunday"?  The term refers to the Monday after the Super Bowl.  It's been coined by the Kraft Heinz company, who this year is giving its thousands of U.S. employees the day after the big game off.  In this year's case, it would have been on February 6th, the day after the Patriots take on the Falcons in Houston.

The food giant feels that since millions of workers either call in sick, or take a personal day on that Monday, the day should become a national holiday.  Foxnews.com reports that the company has circulated an online petition asking Congress to go with the idea.

So how do Central New Yorkers feel about a "Smunday" holdiday?  It's much too late for this year, but if Congress goes along, it could happen in the future.   Let us know, click on the poll below.
