Sitrin’s 2013 Stars & Stripes Run-Walk Is October 5th

What a super way to help support our nation's heroes and you can do it right here in Central New York.  Take part in the 2nd Annual Sitrin Stars & Stripes Run-Walk on Saturday October 5th.

The 5k wheelchair, 5k run and 2 mile walk all take place at the SUNYIT campus in Marcy on Saturday October 5th.  The wheelchair start is 9:15, the 5k run takes place at 9:30 and the 2 mile walk begins at 9:45.

While it's a good idea to register in advance, you will be able to register the day of the run-walk.  Do so from 8-9 am at the Campus Center on October 5th.

Entry fee is $25 and if you raise $125, you'll receive a Stars & Stripes t-shirt.

Get some of your friends or co-workers together and walk or run as a team.  Or do it on your own  in honor of those who've served our country.  Either way, the money you raise will help Sitrin's Military Rehabilitation Program, which provides care for wounded warriors suffering from PTSD and other combat related conditions.

Such a worthy cause for those who give so much.
