A Snow Emergency has been declared in the City of Utica.

All vehicles parked on city streets must be removed.so DPW crews can plow.

Any vehicles left on city streets after 10:00 tonight are subject to ticketing and towing at the owner's expense.

The Snow Emergency will remain in effect until further notice.

Mayor Robert Palmieri says the DPW will do everything it can to lessen the burden on travelers, but he's asking for patience and understanding.

There's also a Snow Emergency in Rome.

All vehicles must be off the street by 10:00.

Whitesboro has also declared a Snow Emergency until further notice and they've advising no unnecessary travel.
