The Great Thanksgiving Food Drive For The Rome Rescue Mission Is Underway

Today is the day The Rome Rescue Mission is picking up your donations for their Thanksgiving Food Drive. Otherwise, please drop off items at 280 East Dominic Street in Rome as the need is much greater this year.

Matt Miller, Executive Director of the Rome Rescue Mission tells us:

The numbers are in and 402 people registered their family for a Thanksgiving Basket. That's over 100 more than expected! The break down is: Adults: 811 Children: 639 Seniors: 53 Total: 1503 Funding is also needed as we will be purchasing most of the Turkey and Chicken.
This is over 150 more than last year – we really need you.
