The Limited Stores Closing Up Shop Nationwide

The popular women's clothing store has been struggling to bring shoppers in.

All 250 'The Limited' stores around the country will be closing down, taking more than 4,000 jobs with it.

In New York State, Limited stores could, up until Sunday, be found in Syracuse, Albany Rochester and Buffalo.

Central New Yorkers might remember Limited and their spinoff store for kids Limited Too from when they were options at Sangertown Square Mall years ago.

For now, a message on The Limited website says that the store will continue to live online, and you can still shop there:

But reports from Forbes and other news outlets say the company is set to liquidate their assets, meaning they will have no products to sell you.

This news follows a sad trend of large retailers closing throughout the U.S.
