Machinist

As a Machinist under general supervision, you will be required to set up, adjust, and operate a variety of machine tools which may include computerized numeric control lathes, mills and manually operated equipment such as engine lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, etc.

Responsibilities include:

  • Will be required to read blueprints, perform varying levels of shop mathematics associated with machining operations including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Ability to write and edit programs using G and M codes on FANUC CNC controls
  • Experience with conversational programming on SWI Proto Track lathes and/or milling machines a plus
  • Perform inspection procedures to verify work using precision measuring instruments, machinists' hand tools, machinists' handbooks, sketches, fixtures, tables and charts.
  • Expertise in a particular machining process or work on one single purpose machine which may involve multiple machining processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of, and apply, machine shop theory and practice including machinability of metals to select feeds, speeds, and cutting oils and coolants.
  • CNC Programming experience using Edgecam or similar offline software a plus.

Physical limitations: Work may require lifting, pulling, and carrying up to fifty (50) pounds; frequent bending, climbing stairs, and reaching; standing up to six (6) hours per day.

Industrial Electrician

As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for wiring new machine builds to completion and termination to control panels or terminal strips based on approved electrical schematics. Designing layouts for new panel builds and troubleshooting electronic components parts in new electrical panels. Install electrical systems, apparatus, and electronic components in new machine builds as directed by electrical engineering. Following basic electrical code, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications will prove to be guideline for success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Willingness to wire new machine builds on floor incorporating strong mechanical aptitude for heavily customized equipment
  • Panel layout and design according to schematics/drawings a plus
  • Read electrical schematics and drawings and provide feedback and markups to engineering to help document drawing changes
  • Operate necessary hand and power tools required
  • Be familiar with electrical control components
  • Assemble equipment from blueprints and take verbal instructions
  • Experience with industrial controls is required
  • Be thorough and detail orientated when communicating concerns or issues
  • Knowledge of reading electrical schematics/drawings is a plus
  • Prior control panel building experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of AC & DC drives and 3-phase power is a plus
  • Electrical assembler with minimum 3 years’ experience
  • Ability to travel a plus

Machine Assembler

As a Machine Assembler, you will be asked to perform assembly of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, custom design mechanical assemblies. Must have willingness to be able to learn to analyze specifications, blue print reading, set up and operate machine tools, fit and assemble parts, work concurrently with electrical technicians, and accountability for the finished quality of the machine through shipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Mechanical assembly of custom machinery and be able to perform troubleshooting activities if needed.
  • Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished assemblies for conformance to specifications.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn how to interpret blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to plan sequences of mechanical assembly.
  • Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify jigs, gauges, and tools using machine tools and small hand tools.
  • File, grind, shim, and adjust different parts to properly fit them together.
  • Lift, position, and secure machined parts and large assemblies using hoists, fork trucks or other proper lifting devices according to company safety standards.
  • Working constructively with mechanical and electrical engineers to troubleshoot assemblies.
  • Willingness to perform a variety of tasks and relocate to different production areas as need of the business changes.
  • Need the ability to be Fork Truck Certified.

Electrical Designer

This position would put the candidate into electrical hardware design and documentation aspects of machine controls. Be a part of a dynamic design team driving the market of automatic machinery for wire, cable, tubing and fiber optics. Candidates should have a background in electrical control systems for industrial machinery. Working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.

Knowledge of electrical schematics for control panels, bills of materials, AC/DC variable speed drives, HMIs and programmable controllers is a plus. Wire and cable industry knowledge is a plus.

A minimum of an associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology is required. Industrial experience is preferred. We offer a clean working environment and a competitive wage and benefits package.

Electrical Engineer

This position would put the candidate into all aspects of machine controls, process and product testing. Be a part of a dynamic design team driving the market of automatic machinery for wire, cable, tubing and fiber optics. Candidates should have a background in electrical control systems for industrial machinery.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD, schematics for control panels, AC/DC variable speed drives, HMIs and programmable controllers required. Wire and cable process knowledge a plus. Some travel for startup of systems is required.

Service Engineer

This position would challenge the candidate in all aspects of machine operation, troubleshooting and repair. Mechanical operation, controls, process and product testing. Be a part of a dynamic design team driving the market of automatic machinery for wire, cable, tubing and fiber optics. Candidates should have a background in service (or design) of industrial machinery.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD, mechanical aptitude, reading electrical control system schematics, AC/DC variable speed drives, HMIs and programmable controllers are all good areas to have experience in. Wire and cable process knowledge a plus.

Travel for startup and/or service of systems is required. A minimum of an associate’s degree in Engineering Technology is desired, along with industrial experience is required. We offer a clean working environment and a competitive wage and benefits package.
