The Number Of Workers Living Paycheck To Paycheck Is Declining
Even though there's still plenty of bad economic news swirling around, a new survey has shown that things just might be getting better out there. Out there, where outer space?
The CareerBuilder.com survey found that the number of workers living paycheck-to-paycheck is declining. This number is actually lower than it has been at any time since the recession.
Here's the survey results:
- 42 percent of workers say they live paycheck-to-paycheck to make ends meet, which is where we were at in 2007.
- 14 percent of workers who earn six figures say they live paycheck to paycheck.
- Workers are absolutely not willing to give up Internet, driving or mobile phones regardless of their financial concerns.
Do you think things are getting better?
