On September 13th 2008 I was prepared to make the biggest decision of my life.  It was a beautiful late summer weekend high atop the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains and my entire being was consumed with adrenaline and excitement. I was feeling a little nervous but ultimately I just couldn't wait to marry the woman of my dreams. We dated for two and a half years before I decided to pop the big question. I'll never forget the day she said yes. I literally danced my way across the road to the coffee shop where my friends were. I couldn't wait to tell them the good news!

My fiancée and I decided to have our wedding portraits taken BEFORE we officially said our our "I do's". It turns out this was the biggest mistake of my life. Do you know the phrase: "a picture paints a thousand words?" It couldn't be more precise when comes to my wedding day. As you scroll through the pictures the story unfolds and you'll see for yourself why the "big day" never happened.

This first photo depicts our wedding day excitement

Oh by the way all the pictures were taken for a photo shoot in California and this story was just for fun. As a matter of fact I don't even remember the bride's name.
