Utica Man Goes Ninja, Attacks Family with Samurai Sword

Thar Kyi of Utica was arrested yesterday after he allegedly attacked attacked a family with a Samurai sword. Kyi confronted the Elizabeth Street family just before school.  It's alleged his intended victim was the boyfriend of his ex.  In swinging the sword aiming at the boyfriend, he instead sliced his 8-year-old son in the head. Kyi ditched the sword and fled to Syracuse after the attack where he was apprehended. Neither the child nor boyfriend were seriously injured in the attack. [UPD on Facebook]
