Summer fun is officially underway in Utica.

Mayor Michael Galime and the City of Utica announced that city pools, splash pads, playgrounds and water play areas are now open for the season, giving families a few ways to beat the heat.

Utica Public Pools Open Six Days a Week

The city's three public pools are open Monday through Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Residents can swim at:

  • Addison Miller Pool
  • Buckley Pool
  • Seymour Pool

Splash Pads in Utica Offer Another Way to Cool Off

For those looking for a quick way to cool down, splash pads are now operating at two popular parks:

  • Proctor Park
  • Chancellor Park

Water Play Areas Open at Several Utica Parks

Additional watering holes and water play areas are also available throughout the city, including:

  • Pixley Park
  • O'Connor Park
  • Wankel Park
