Monday November 11th is Veterans Day.  As our nation remembers those who've served our country, both past and present, there will be many Veterans Day observances here in Central New York.

The Whitesboro Fire Department and the American Legion Post #1113 will be hosting a Veterans Day parade on Sunday, November 10th.  The parade starts at 1pm and will travel along Main Street to the American Legion, where a cermony will follow.

On Sunday, November 10th, there will be a Tribute Concert To Honor Veterans.  It begins at 4pm in the Clark Athletic Center at Utica College.  The concert will feature performances by the Utica College Choir, Utica Community Chorus and the Utica College Concert Band.

They'll be collecting non-perishable food items for the Feed Our Veterans program.   Monetary donations will help the Fischer House program.  Special guests at the concert include area veterans and Notre Dame and Proctor High School NJROTC.

New York Mills is hosting a monument dedication for Pearl Harbor Veterans on Veterans Day, November 11th.  The dedication takes place at the Veteran's Park on Main Street in New York Mills.  The "Edward Bator USS Arizona Pearl Harbor Memorial Monument" dedication begins at 3pm.  Call 732-6632 for more info.

Leon R. Roberts American Legion Post 161 in Holland Patent will be holding a Veterans Day ceremony on 11/11 with a lunch afterward for all veterans.

 American Legion Post 1376 on Clinton Street in New Hartford will hold Veterans Day observances beginning at 11am.
