He was once a struggling stand-up comic in New York City, but now this Upstate New York farmer has become an internet star with his barn dance video.  More than 7 million people on Facebook have seen Jay Lavery of Sharon Springs dancing in his barn, and the video was even featured on NBC's "Today" show.

Lavery is surprised by his sudden fame, and joked with the Times Union, saying "Where were all those people when nobody paid attention to my gigs for all those years."   He also said that he has even received marriage proposal from women who loved his barn dancing moves.

The song that inspired his dancing as the goats looked on was Sia's "Cheap Thrills."  The audio has since been removed from the original video.
