What Would New York Look Like if the Polar Ice Caps Melted?

There is a fascinating photo posted to reddit recently hypothesizing what Upstate New York would look like if the polar ice caps melted.

It looks like the most dramatic change would be caused by much larger St. Lawrence, Hudson and Mohawk Rivers. In fact, those three rivers would make an island of northern New York. The Finger Lakes and Oneida Lake would be swallowed up by a much larger Lake Ontario.

Many of Upstate New York's major cities including Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse and Albany look like they'd be swallowed up in this scenario.
