Which July 2014 New Album Release Are You Most Excited For? – Readers Poll
The temperature is rising, and the music's getting even hotter! As we head into July 2014, some of our favorite artists are treating us to brand-new albums -- and we can't wait to hear them. 5 Seconds of Summer, Robin Thicke, Magic!, Sia and Jason Mraz are all coming out with records this July. Which one are you looking forward to the most?
5 Seconds of Summer are gearing up for the U.S. release of their debut eponymous album, and to put it bluntly: We can't freaking wait. '5 Seconds of Summer' (the album, that is) features such gems as 'She Looks So Perfect,' 'Don't Stop,' and our brand-new favorite, 'Amnesia.' 5 Seconds of Summer's music was made to be played during those hot days (hello, just look at their name!) and we can't wait to crank this one at full volume.
Robin Thicke has been pouring it on pretty darn "thicke" in order to win back his estranged wife, Paula Patton -- and his upcoming album, 'Paula,' is chock-full of his heartfelt emotions, which you can clearly hear in the record's first single 'Get Her Back.' 'Paula' promises to be nothing short of raw and real, and we can't wait to hear it.
Magic! have been tearing up the radio airwaves with their infectious smash hit, 'Rude,' so there's no doubt that their debut album, 'Don't Kill the Magic,' will continue with their funky, reggae-licious sound. The band visited the PopCrush studio to play some of their new tracks, and let us tell you: The guys can totally rock it live.
Sia has collaborated with dozens of artists, but now she's back with her own solo album, '1000 Forms of Fear.' And with the record's lead single 'Chandelier' getting some serious buzz, you know that the strong vocalist will pack a serious punch with this one.
Jason Mraz is taking his positive and upbeat attitude to his new album, 'Yes!,' which will offer an intimate, acoustic look at his brand-new tracks. Of course, the 'I'm Yours' singer is always a fan favorite, and we can't wait to see what 'Yes!' has in store.
